Young Generation

Young Generation (YG) is a network for young professionals in the nuclear power industry.

The Young Generation network was launched in 1994 by Jan Runermark, the then-CEO of ABB Atom, currently Westinghouse Electric Sweden withy the aim to facilitate transfer of valuable knowledge from those with extensive experiences to those who are in the beginning of their nuclear careers. 

YG organizes a one-year-long programme for its participants who will attend a series of seminars and study visits.

The network is normally only opened for ypung employies in the nuclerar industry but during 2023 and 2024 SKC has made it possible for selected students to attened.
